MAGNOLIA, Ark. - Hendrix cross country hit the road to Magnolia, Ark. to take part in the ninth annual Lois Davis Invitational. On the women's side, Mackenzie Gearin finished in 26th place in the 5K event (3.11 miles) after recording a 19:55.2 mark while Victoria Ortega finished in 37th place with a 21:03.1 time. As a team, the women's team was not able place. On the men's side, the Warriors finished seventh, as a team. Michael Miller paced the Warriors, finishing with a 30:54.8 time in the 8K event (4.97 miles). Gideon Drake finished with a second-best (on the team) 30:57.8 in the event. Hendrix will now gear up for the Southern Athletic Association Championships from Rome, Ga. Nov. 2.
